Premature ovarian failure is a condition affecting the reproductive system of women before they reach the age of 40. This means that both ovaries lose their function. Premature ovarian failure is known by various names such as premature menopause, primary ovarian failure, or primary ovarian insufficiency. In terms of percentage, the number of women affected by the disorder is small, although if translated to actual figures, the number exceeds hundreds of thousands.

Causes of Premature Ovarian Failure

Premature ovarian failure arises suddenly in women. In some cases, the cause is believed to be attributed to autoimmune disorders while others are attributed to genetic disorders like Turner Syndrome. On the other hand, chemotherapy and similar radiation treatment can also cause premature ovarian failure. The presence of chemotherapy is decidedly a factor that contributes to the development of premature ovarian failure. Even though the ovaries can still function after menopause, hormonal production is at very low levels so as to render child bearing impossible. On the other hand, radiation therapy makes the ovary stop functioning and the resulting hormonal production is comparable only to that of a woman whose ovaries have been removed. In most cases of premature ovarian failure, family history seems to play a prominent role, insinuating the possibility that the disease may run in some families.

Recommended Treatments for Premature Ovarian Failure

Treatment of premature ovarian failure will depend heavily on the kind of case experienced by a woman. Premature ovarian failure is classified into two types:

* When there is few to a total absence of follicles. In this type, the most common culprit are genetic disorders, radiation therapy, surgery, and infection. As such, when one activity has been positively identified as the cause of the disorder, prompt action should be made to stop the factors causing the disorder, with the exception of genetic disorders.

* A situation where there is premature ovarian failure despite an abundance of follicles. In this case, the most common cause is an autoimmune ovarian disease that damages mature follicles.

Because the disease is known to show up shortly before or during the onset of menopause, the condition itself may bring other disorders that can only complicate the picture. For one, body cramps and bone weakening are almost always sure to occur, although these can be treated easily. The problem here lies when the symptoms of one disease is confused with that of another and may cause the medication to be mixed up. As such, proper identification of the symptoms of the presence of premature ovarian failure should be made to ensure that the correct steps are taken.

One treatment method that should be employed cautiously is hormonal replacement. With it, bodily hormones are infused into the woman’s body. This method is so complicated that a lot of factors have to be considered first before deciding to use the method. One such factor is the state of health of the woman and the benefits that could be derived from the application.

Staying in shape while you’re pregnant is great for you and for your baby. It’s important to enhance your endurance and muscle tone to make labor and delivery much easier. This will also help you recover faster after the baby is born. Staying fit will also help you get back to your original weight after pregnancy. Remember to always ask your physician before starting any type of exercise program.

Here are the top five favorites of pregnant women:

Walking tops the list of exercise favorites of pregnant women. Not only is it beneficial for your body (and your baby), it’s the kind of exercise that can be done anytime, anywhere. And, it’s much easier on your knees – not to mention your breasts – than running. Before you begin, be sure to invest in a good pair of walking shoes that are supportive and comfortable. If you are just starting out, take it slow and set realistic goals. It’s a good idea to warm up for at least 10 minutes prior to walking. A few simple leg stretches, arm swings, and neck rolls should suffice. While walking, keep your posture straight and swing your arms in unison with your legs. During the last 10 minutes, start cooling down by slowing your pace and relaxing your arms. Once stopped, perform a few stretches to prevent muscle cramps.

Swimming is a great option for pregnant women. This low-impact form of exercise works the large muscle groups while improving your circulation, helping you build endurance, and increasing muscle tone. As with all exercise, you’ll burn calories, feel more energized, and sleep better after a workout. As for the best type of stroke? The breaststroke is probably best suited to pregnant women as it doesn’t require any rotation of the torso, and you’ll exert less energy than let’s say, the crawl or the butterfly. Swimming poses a very low risk of injury, so you’ll be able to swim throughout your entire pregnancy. Best of all, as your belly gets bigger, you’ll appreciate the feeling of weightlessness in the water.

Yoga soothes the mind and body – and who better to reap the benefits of a calming workout than a pregnant woman? It’s important to find a program (DVD or class) that’s specifically designed for pregnancy as these routines focus on strengthening and stretching the muscles that will be used during pregnancy and labor. Yoga calms both body and mind, providing a much-needed physical and emotional outlet. Breathing exercises will teach you how to cope with the pain of contractions, as rhythmic breathing during labor maximizes the amount of oxygen available to you and your baby. If you opt to take a class, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other pregnant women who can offer support and advice.

Stationary Cycling is the perfect choice for those who enjoyed biking before pregnancy because you can continue doing what you loved without having to worry about falling and harming your baby. Your breasts and belly will thank you, too, as stationary cycling will prevent your body from bouncing around as you won’t be traversing any tough terrain. Even better, you can read or watch television while exercising, something you may not have time to do once the baby arrives! To avoid back strain, opt for a stationary cycle that allows you to sit upright or reclined.

Light Weight Training is very beneficial during pregnancy. Not only will it strengthen your muscles (which will help tremendously during labor and delivery) it will also speed weight loss after pregnancy. You’ll feel more energized and sleep better, too. Keep in mind that if you’ve never used weights before pregnancy, it’s probably not a good idea to start now. And, machine weights are definitely safer than using free weights. It’s a good idea to check with a trainer about the types of exercises best suited for pregnant women. You should increase your caloric intake by 300-500 calories (yeah!) to keep up with the additional demands of weight training and your pregnancy. Be sure to give your muscles a rest by training no more than 3 times a week, and perform all exercises in a sitting position to prevent your blood from pooling.

Vaginitis is a condition in which there is an inflammation of the vagina. It is also characterized by discharge, odor, irritation, and itching. There are many agents that can cause vaginitis. These are bacteria, yeast, chemicals, and even clothing. Vaginitis can also be a sexually transmitted disease and it is influenced by many factors like health, personal hygiene, medications, hormones, health of the sexual partner, and disturbance of the genitalia.

The Many Types of Vaginitis and Their Treatments

It is important to know the different types of vaginitis so that you can understand the right treatment. They come from different causes and they often have different symptoms. More than one type of vaginitis can occur at the same time with or without the presence of the symptoms and you must take note to identify them correctly.

* Candida or yeast infection. Caused by the fungus Candida, they normally live in the vagina but only in small numbers. The most common symptom is the thick, white vaginal discharge that is usually odorless and watery, and causes redness and itchiness in the vulva and vagina over time. The treatment will be determined by the physician based on the woman’s overall health and medical history. It may include antifungal vaginal creams, vaginal tablets, and antibiotics.

* Bacterial vaginosis. This is the most common type of vaginitis, and it is caused by a bacteria. Symptoms may include a milky thin discharge and a fishy odor that may become noticeable during intercourse. Treating it will be as simple as taking in oral antibiotics.

* Trichomoniasis vaginitis. This is caused by a parasite and it can be easily transmitted through sexual intercourse. Symptoms include a greenish yellow discharge with a musty smell and itching around the vagina. It also causes discomfort on the lower abdomen and there is a burning sensation when a woman urinates. Also, women with this infection experience pain during sexual intercourse. Treatment requires only oral antibiotics but both partners need to take medication in order to avoid recurring infection.

* Chlamydia vaginitis. This is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the United States and it often goes undiagnosed. If this infection is left untreated, it will result in pelvic inflammatory disease. This is caused by a bacterium and different strains of it exist. Symptoms include a light bleeding with pain in the lower abdomen. Women with this infection often have pus in their urine and there is a redness and swelling in the urethra and labia. Antibiotics are used to treat this infection.

* Viral vaginitis. This is often the most common cause of vaginitis. One type that causes this and other sexually related diseases is the human papillomavirus or HPV. Symptoms include the presence of warts in the genitalia and this is simply detected by a Pap test. There is a vaccine widely used in treating and preventing this infection.

* Noninfectious vaginitis. This refers to vaginal irritation without an infection. It is usually caused by an allergic reaction from any chemical that is applied to the genitals. Symptoms include itching, burning, and even pelvic pain. Treating this vaginal infection includes applying estrogen creams and oral tablets. This restores lubrication and decrease the soreness and irritation of the genitals.

When a woman becomes pregnant, it is always imperative that she will take care of her health in a more careful manner than ever. Because pregnancy involves the phase wherein a baby is prepared for its entry into the world in her mother’s womb, it is important for the baby to obtain the proper amount and kind of nutrients that will ensure a healthy and safe delivery.

Eating Right during Pregnancy

There are various factors that a woman can do to ensure that her health and that of the baby is in good state. For some women, a little exercise will help while others have their own routine that are also beneficial for the baby and for the mother, along with providing a hope for a safe delivery. However, one thing that a pregnant woman should not ignore is to make the healthy choices of foods during pregnancy.

During pregnancy, the baby is totally dependent on its mother for nutrients. This is why a pregnant woman must bear in mind that what she eats is not only for her own health but for the baby as well. Here, a lot of misinterpretations exist. Some pregnant women insist that just because there are now two of them to feed, it means she has to double her regular food intake. This is entirely wrong. She does not necessarily have to double her food intake. She just need to make sure that the proper dose of the needed nutrients is more than enough. She also needs to make the healthy food choices.

Healthy Foods to Eat during Pregnancy

What are the healthy food choices for pregnant women? There may not be a single list of foods that will be good for all pregnant women. This is because each pregnant woman has her own unique needs. Nonetheless, it is possible to list down foods that will be right for all pregnant women regardless of their state:

Lean meat, fish, eggs, and peanut butter. These are rich in protein and they help regulate the protein concentration in a pregnant woman’s body. Inability to regulate protein content in the body, especially in the urine, may cause preeclampsia, which can have fatal consequences. Protein is also vital for cell growth and blood production. These foods are likewise good sources for iron, which is critical in blood cell production.

Bread, cereals, rice, potatoes, fruits, and vegetables. These are rich sources of carbohydrates, which are needed for the body’s energy. Moreover, carbohydrates also help in keeping the body warm.

Milk, cheese, yogurt, and sardines. These are rich in calcium, which is very vital in making sure that bones are strong as well as in maintaining nerve function.

Carrots, sweet potatoes, and leafy green vegetables. These are important for having a healthy skin, for bone growth, and for good eyesight.

Citrus fruit, tomatoes, and fortified fruit juices. These are great sources of vitamin C, which is needed to aid in iron absorption and for healthy gums, bones, and teeth.

A diamond ring is a diamond ring, right? Well, not always. An engagement ring draws a lot of attention to the wearer’s hand and fingers. Most of us would assume that all sparkling diamonds are going to look fantastic on THAT finger. However, some diamond shapes are going to look more fantastic on some fingers than others. What diamond shape is going to complement you hand and be best for your engagement ring?

* Round solitaires tend to look great on most fingers. The trick with a solitaire is to ensure that it is the correct size to balance your finger size. A smaller solitaire on a bigger finger can start to look unbalanced. Many girls with smaller fingers assume that there is no such thing as too big a diamond, and for many this is true.

* Slender petite fingers can really wear Princess and the very popular Asscher settings extremely well.

* Broader hands tend to look better with a balanced engagement ring. Beware that diagonal settings can make a broad hand or finger appear even bulkier. Diamonds in the shapes of pear, oval, and marquise, can all make a shorter finger appear longer.

* Personal choice. One of the very best ways to determine what diamond shape looks best on you is try on a variety of styles. You may find that you are constantly drawn to one shape, or that it is visually apparent which shape does your hand the most justice.

* Cost. Unless there is no limit to your engagement ring budget, costing may play some part in selecting a diamond shape. Some diamond shapes are more expensive than others. For example, an Asscher is going to be more expensive than a princess shaped diamond.

* Your preferred setting may well have a huge bearing on the sort of diamond shape you can utilize. Solitaire diamond engagement rings are always going to need a symmetrically shaped stone. Three stone engagement rings tend to favor some geometrical styles rather than others.

* Fire. If you have your heart set on a diamond with incredible fire you may well be not looking at the Pear, Marquise, Oval, or Heart shaped diamonds. These shapes tend to lose some of their fire in the way in which they have to be cut to obtain their famous shape.

* Another important consideration when selecting a diamond shape is how appropriate it is going to look with a wedding band. Obviously this will only be a consideration if you are wanting a wedding band. If your engagement ring is going to be both a wedding and engagement ring, then this will not be an issue. Bridal sets can be an excellent way to alleviate this sometimes tricky problem, as they are created and designed to be worn together and will sit together perfectly. Another solution is to try the intended engagement ring on with various wedding bands, prior to purchasing, to see if there is a band that suits the engagement ring.

Every human being carries inside themselves both the feminine and masculine sides. When you are born, you are totally unaware of your potential to choose which side you would like to develop more.

As you grow and develop, your brain is forming solid connections about the way you should behave in your society. Most of these connections are formed by what you see and experience from your early years.

Perhaps you were born a boy and from a young age all your surroundings were driving and teaching you how to develop your masculine side. However, later on you might have felt a bit uncomfortable with the choice that was made for you and your feminine side started to come out leaving you feeling awkward with your two sides fighting inside.

This internal fight can cause you to have some inconsistencies in your manners, voice and behaviour. That’s where the feminization self hypnosis can greatly help you. The fight will be over and your feminine side will take control in such a natural and subtle way that your way to move, to think and to speak will change forever.

A feminization self hypnosis program will help you at a very deep level - your brain connections. In the privacy of your home you can practice it for as long as you want and achieve the success you so desire as quickly as your dedication will be.

The program allows you to achieve your goal in your own time. Some people would prefer it at a slower pace and others would like it as quickly as possible. That is where the time you dedicate to your sessions is crucial.

Feminization self hypnosis was experienced by my brother who was born a woman trapped in a man’s body. In his early age he showed signs that he was in the wrong body. For this reason the pressure was relentless. He was pushed around to participate in all “manly” activities you can possibly think.

When he finally reached the age where he could leave home and do whatever he wanted he suffered a lot because all the imposed training to be a ‘man’ had affected the way he moved, his gestures and the way he spoke. Although he was free now he still was not feeling complete as a woman.

After thinking long and hard about all the invasive and alternative treatments he decided to go for Feminization Self Hypnosis program. I was astonished with the difference. Everything about him changed so naturally that now I can say that I have the sister I always dreamed for.

His brain was completely reprogrammed to be a woman and his manners, gestures and the way he speaks now you just can not tell that he was once a boy! Feminization self hypnosis can totally transform you without the expensive invasive treatments.

Lots of men who underwent invasive treatments still have old behaviours caused by ‘the intensive imposed training’ to be a man. Even after all these treatments they still won’t feel complete.

Hypnotherapy for birth or Hypnobirthing is a term that is increasingly appearing in the news and spoken of by health professionals as the ‘new way’ to give birth; it is natural and often pain free. But what is this system and is it really a good as good as it is hailed to be?

The phrase was first coined by Marie Mongan in Amercia. She had her first baby in hospital and after reading the book ‘Childbirth Without Fear’ by Grantly Dick-Read she announced to the nurses that she was planning on having a natural birth. With a superior smirk the nurse maintained she would soon be ‘screaming like the rest of them’.

Unfortunately Marie got caught up in the hospital protocols of the day and ended up having a high intervention birth when in fact her pregnancy had been proceeding in a perfectly natural way. With her second child a similar process happened, but by her third child Marie was wise to the current obstetrical practises and insisted she be left to give birth in the natural way with her husband present certainly not the done thing in those times!. Her third child was born in a calm and natural delivery with no drugs and no pain.

When Marie’s own daughter became pregnant she taught the techniques she had used and she gave birth calmly and with no pain and without the use of drugs. Her friends of the similar age were also having babies and wanted to know the secret of this hypnotherapy for birth and so started the spread of hypnobirth revolution.

So what is it that has caused the increasing interest in this field, and what is the problem that mothers are looking to solve by turning to hypnotherapy births?

Often we are also pre-conditioned to see birth as a painful experience. Just think of every televised birth you ever saw, and think of what the word ‘labour’ conjures up in your imagination. So Mothers often approach the process of ‘labour’ in a state of near terror, not made any easier by the scare stories they have heard. They then become tense, their muscles tighten up and the end result is they feel pain during their childbirth. Often as a result of the pain they will need medical intervention which will start the cycle of medical intervention throughout the birth.

Hypnotherapy for birth turns this whole cycle of events on its head. Using the techniques taught you are able to be very relaxed, especially those all important muscles and experience the birth in a more positive frame of mind and body. The end result is the whole process becomes an enjoyable experience and many women report that they experience no pain at all.

Using these techniques childbirth can easily become one of the most enjoyable experiences you have in your life. Hypnotherapy for birth is the key to helping this come about – and I for one hope that if you are a woman, and if you are pregnant, or if you know one, you will at least consider this as an option which may enhance your own experience of childbirth, and give a better start in life to your baby.

Why Should I Use Progesterone Cream?

A lot of women have reduced levels of all hormones most especially progesterone this is as a result of the xeno-estrogens we are all exposed to in our everyday life that mimic estrogen. Its in our food, products we use daily, our diets. It is recommended that women use progesterone cream to make up for progesterone deficiency

How would I know if I should use natural progesterone?

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, then natural progesterone is for you:

(a) If you have Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) also referred to as Premenstrual Tension (PMT). PMS or PMT symptoms are those symptoms that consistently crop up about 7 to10 days before the start of a period and stop as soon as the period starts or shortly after.

(b) If you experience Estrogen Dominance symptoms. Some of the symptoms are decreased sex drive, increases fat deposition in the thighs and hips, there is increased risk of endometrial and breast cancer, depression, headaches, mood swings, fluid and salt retention, increases blood clotting and the risk of stroke.

(c) If you experience menopausal symptoms. During menopause, the production of progesterone is almost nil but estrogen is still produced from the fat in cells even after menopause; however, progesterone production virtually ends. Some of the symptoms of menopause are hot flashes, mood changes, memory problems, sleep problems, irregular periods, headaches, joint and muscle pain

(d) Osteoporosis. Women over 50 years of age should use natural progesterone cream to prevent osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become brittle and there is the likely that it would break. Osteoporosis is also referred to as brittle bone disease. These broken bones are also referred to as fractures. Any bone can be affected but it is more common with the wrist, hip and spine. Osteoporosis can be present without presenting any symptoms for years until there is a bone fracture.

What Are The Side Effects Linked With Progesterone Cream?

The Physician’s Desk Reference has a list of side effects and contraindications associated with the use of synthetic progesterone but there are no reports of side effects associated with the use of natural progesterone. Natural progesterone is a cholesterol derivative which comes from soy beans or Mexican wild yam whose chemical composition matches that of the progesterone produced by the body and as such does not have any side effects. The chemical composition of synthetic progesterone is altered by it’s manufacturers so as to produce progestins (progestins are synthetic progesterone). Some of the side effects associated with the use of synthetic progesterone are depression, migraine, abortion, birth defects, asthma and epilepsy.

You know the lipstick you wear, that indispensible cosmetic made of pigment and wax that you ingest on a daily basis? That’s right — ingest. As in “absorb and take into your body.” Guess what? That lipstick isn’t much different than a wax crayon. Surprised? Check out these Wax Facts:

• Glamour magazine reported that women inadvertently ingest about four pounds of lipstick in a lifetime, though no studies back up this claim. Nevertheless, every time a woman licks her lips, she swallows some of the wax, which is what binds the pigment and preservatives, which in turn contain lead.

• The pigments used can include iron oxides, dyes, pigments and additives. The color pigments contain aluminum and other metals such as lead. That’s right — lead. Lead is present, in trace amounts, in almost all dyes and pigments that are used as an ingredient for cosmetic color.

• Chronic and constant lead exposure can lead to severe neurological problems, particularly in children, including reduced cognitive abilities, irritability, headache, lethargy, and hyperactivity and in some cases insomnia.

• A 2004 survey of nearly 6,000 girls found that 63% age ten and younger used lipstick.

• According to study results released by The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a national coalition of nonprofit health and environmental organizations, more than 60% of 33 brand-name lipsticks contain lead.

• Presently, lipstick labels do not and are not required to list lead as an ingredient. Even though the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) inspects all pigments before they are sold as an ingredient to be used in a cosmetic formulation, all formulations are different, so the amount of lead cannot be determined, thus is not required to be listed as an ingredient. Note: the more pigment used in a formula the higher the lead level. In addition, one-third of these 33 lipstick brands contain amounts of lead that exceed the limit set by the FDA for appropriate levels in candy — 0.1 parts per million (ppm).

• There is no limit set by the FDA for lead levels in lipstick.

• Studies shows that the lead levels in lipstick range from 0.03-0.65 ppm. Researchers have yet to test individuals wearing lipstick, especially those lipsticks with high lead levels, to see if those individuals have elevated lead levels in the bloodstream.

• Most lipsticks contain anywhere from 3% to 17% pigment. You can test any lipstick to see if the lead presence is high enough to be concerned.

• A lead test can be done by applying a streak of lipstick on the hand and then rubbing it. If the lipstick leaves a black faint line — it contains lead.

• Lipstick is made from taking a color mixture and grinding it into oil such as propylene glycol which is readily available and inexpensive to use. Propylene glycol has good solubility and it is quite synergetic with the standards for lipstick production. Propylene glycol has been found to cause cancer.

• Lipstick color mixtures are added to wax, such as candellila, bees wax, and paraffin, just like a crayon, which is color pigment mixed with hot paraffin before cooled. The wax for both lipstick and crayons creates binding and molding properties which enable the lipstick and crayon to be formed into a solid.

• Lipstick ingredients are melted together with some form of humectants and blended with animal fat oils such as cholesterol and animal-by-products like lanolin. Shea butters and other oils keep the lipstick formula moist and slippery. Sizable amounts of preservatives are used to keep bacteria from growing as well as to keep Shea butters, and the like, from going rancid in the initially warm and sticky lipstick mixture.

• While hot, the lipstick mixture is poured into metal molds to maintain its stiffness as it solidifies. A flame is then passed over the mixture to create a smooth and shiny finish, and remove any imperfections. Metal or plastic tubes, capped off either by hand or by machine, are used to contain the cooling mixture then readied for market to be sold as the commonly used substance — LIPSTICK.

• Long lasting lipstick requires more pigment, more heavy wax and other additives.

• Manufacturers add aluminum to give lipstick a frosted look. They also add sunscreen and other protective elements to try and create what consumers will think is a more “health-friendly” product.

If you’re wondering where lipstick even came from, historians believe lipstick was probably invented by the Egyptians. In some of their hieroglyphics, the eyes and mouth are detailed with radiant color. To create the ancient cosmetic, Egyptians used vegetable matter colored with cinnabar, plant dye, iodine and bromine carmine known to us today as beetle wings. Some of these ingredients are not considered safe by today’s standards, but as a whole, they are much safer than what manufacturers use in basic lipstick formulations.

Any healthy ingredients like botanicals, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and organic live ingredients are rendered useless in a solid pre-cooked crayon-like wax that we call lipstick.

We’ve been subjected to the “Lipstick Paradigm” for over 60 years with little improvement. Not a lot of thought has been put into keeping lipstick an ECO and sustainable product.

Stretch marks are said to be related to hormonal changes that happens during puberty, pregnancy, and muscle building. Stretch marks are the off-color scarring on the skin that is caused by the tearing of the dermis. This can disappear eventually but not fully. The possibility of developing stretch marks increases among pregnant women. In fact, 75 to 90 percent of women will develop stretch marks during their pregnancy.

For pregnant women, stretch marks will appear on the abdomen, the upper thighs, the buttocks, breasts, and the arms. The enormity and amount of the stretch marks will depend on the pregnant women’s total weight gain, genetic history, and the effort that these women put into preventing the stretch marks. What should pregnant women do to prevent stretch marks?

Preventing Stretch Marks

If there is one thing that many pregnant women don’t want to have as a souvenir of their pregnancy, it would be stretch marks. Genetics play an important role in whether or not a woman is susceptible to developing stretch marks. So if your mother ever got stretch marks when she was pregnant, there is a big possibility that you would get them also. There are many means in which you can prevent stretch marks from developing. Even if you are inclined to having them, you could limit the possibility by just following some simple guidelines. Here’s what you should do:

* Develop a healthy diet. You should control your weight gain to a recommended range of 25 to 35 pounds. This will not only contribute to the general health of your skin but it will also improve the health of the baby. A controlled weight gain will minimize the stretching of the skin and therefore the enormity of the stretch marks will also be minimized.

* Locate the possible areas in which stretch marks will develop or the areas that you want to prevent stretch marks from appearing. Massage these areas using a body brush or a wash cloth to increase the circulation of the blood in that area.

* Hydrate yourself. Drink plenty of water as this helps in improving the health of the skin and the health of the baby too.

* Take vitamins such as Vitamin E. This will ensure the health of your skin.

* Moisturize your skin effectively especially during the first and second trimester. There are many oils and creams that are available for you to use and you can use any of them even without the prescription of your doctor or dermatologist. This will keep your skin elastic and supple as these act as food for your skin. The formula in these creams will enhance the production of collagen, supports the dermis, and still keep the skin intact despite the rigorous stretching.

* Don’t forget to take care of your skin even after pregnancy in the post partum period. You will lose weight dramatically during this period and your skin will be more susceptible to stretch marks.

If you still develop stretch marks, don’t stress yourself just yet. This will become unnoticeable over time. If you are still conscious about these unwanted marks, you could visit the dermatologist for a skin treatment.
